]]>Tektrify is hosting an iLoader Photo Contest! Everyone who has any version of iLoader 1 or 2 or HD (Lite, Full, iPhone, iPad, iPod, Android) is welcome to participate in this competition. Capture the moments with your device and use our iLoader applications to edit, adjust or add effects to photos. iLoader 1 will be at an disadvantage because there is really no editing tools available. You should at least use iLoader 2 Lite. We all can take pictures of something, anything, and everything! Photography is a good way to learn from each other, preserve the moment and win prizes too. Now go into the world with eyes open, phone ready, and capture that best shot!
What is the contest?
This contest will be about “Drop(s) of Water” so any photos with drop(s) of water in there will be qualify. For example, rain water on your window or door, water splashing at the beach, etc.
Who determine the winner?
Nhu, our user email support staff, will decide. If you email us for support awhile back then you probably got a reply from her. She will determines the winner base on the uniqueness and coolness of the photos so unleash your imagination!
What is the prize?
For this contest, the prize will be a canvas print of the photo that you use. We will feature your photo on iLoader Facebook page and optionally will interview you through email to learn a little about you if you don’t mind and post the result on the Fan page also.
How do I enter?
- Take a photo using your device (iPhone, iPod, iPad, Android device) and you can submit up to 3 photos.
- Use iLoader to edit and add effects.
- Upload it to Facebook. A link will automatically copy to your clipboard.
- Use any one of the following methods below to enter:

2011
2011 has been a great year for Tektrify. We added three new apps iLoader 2, RecordNow and iLoader for Google+ to our list and made a few updates to iLoader 1, iLoader HD and iVideo. Here are what we have accomplished with them.
iLoader 2 – We ran into a few issues but we were able to iron them out and it is very well received now with all 5 stars rating. Love reading them! In the last update, we also added two premium effect packages Nostalgia and Grunge as in app purchases. It was pretty well received so thank you for your support and glad you guys like them. If you haven’t seen them, you should check them out!
RecordNow- It was pretty well received at first but not very well after. If you have RecordNow, please give us feedbacks so we can improve it and make it awesome like iLoader 2 and other apps.
iLoader for Google+- Sad to say but iLoader for Google+ seems to be a failure comparing to all our apps download numbers 
. We are guessing that everyone is still on Facebook and no one uses Google+. Will see how it goes for 2012…
iLoader 1- iLoader 1 is still pretty well received and used by a large number of fans. We were going to discontinue it but because of the large number of fans, we decided to keep it in the App Store and maintain it. We are still deciding on what to do.
iLoader HD and iVideo- We will be spending a lot of time with these two apps in the coming year because we didn’t give them as much attention as we would like so stay tuned!

We want to take a little time to thank our graphic designer Jeff Holter, who make our apps look awesome, our support/testing team including Sam Nugent, Vien Hua and Nhu Vu for your top notch support and testing and our beta testers who helped us make sure that our apps are as bug free as possible. Without you guys, Tektrify will not be able to put out quality apps and provide the high quality support that we have been providing. Last but not least, we want to especially thank you guys for supporting us by buying our apps and using them so we can keep doing what we love. 2012
We are very excited and really looking forward to 2012 because we have so much plans to bring you guys more useful and awesome updates, new apps and especially some new games. We will probably be expanding our little team to add more resources. We will be putting more resources into making some awesome games in 2012 so stay tuned! We also would like to run more giveaways and sweepstakes as we didn’t have time to run them this year.

Quite a few users have asked us if we have an Android version of iLoader over the year and now we can finally say ‘YES, very soon’! We have been working on the Android version for sometime and we are happy to announce that it is nearly complete. Hopefully we can get it all done by next week. Photo Editing View
We decided to use the Aviary iOS sdk because it was very easy to integrate, customize and use. The sdk provided all the basic photo editing features that we hope to add and a lot more on top of that. Partnering with Aviary will give iLoader 2 users more and better photo editing features and allows us to focus on our core batch uploading functionalities.

- Copy link to photos or video to clipboard after done uploading so you can post to Twitter or else where if you so desire since iLoader only let you post to Facebook or Twitter but not both
- Add Sepia effect
- Rename “Cancel” button to “Cancel/Refresh” button in select photo view so it is clear if you tap on that, your photos will be refresh
Fixes a few crashes related to Low Memory
- Could crash when start to upload
- Everything will be saved if app crash so you don’t have to start all over
- A few other minor bugs

Our latest app RecordNow will be available starting tonight around 9pm PST time for Only $0.99 and it will be a Universal App! With RecordNow, we want to solve one problem which is recording video on your iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad. With the regular Camera app, here are the steps you would need to take to record a video.
1. Tap the camera button
2. Wait for Camera to load (appox. 3 secs)
3. Change option to video
4. Wait for it to load (appox. 2.5 secs)
5. Tap record
6. Tap stop
7. Wait for saving
8. Tap Home to exit
We believe that we don’t use our iOS device to record video a lot because it takes too much work to do it. Also, once you get the device to start recording, the moment might be over already. Do you guys feel that sometime? We think a lot of people will have that same problem too so that is why we develop RecordNow. With RecordNow, here is all you need to do to successfully record a video:
1. Tap app(start recording right away)
2. Tap Home to exit(auto stop and save to Camera Roll in background)
That is it, no fuzz no fiz, just record a video! It’s great for parents who have little kids, senior who have grand kids and want a simple video recorder and everyone else in between. RecordNow also allows you to take photos while recording if you want to which you can’t really do with the regular Camera.
